Description

This is a project I'm doing for print making that's supposed to represent me.

Background texture by me, hair drawing by me, picture of the girl is called "Chainless Links" by Brooke Shaden.

If you know who originally took this picture, I would be eternally grateful if you shared the information so I can credit them properly!

Wow, this looks really stunning!
I really like the background you chose, the texture is amazing and the colours look great! I especially like that it is mirrored, and in my opinion it kind of looks like one of those ink-blob things where you have to say what it looks like.
The way you brought the Photo into this is very good, because although it looks different from the heavily textured background, it still looks like it is a part of the image. I think you achieved that look by changing the hue of the Photograph to blue and putting it right at the dark edge of the blue part of the texture.
It kind of gives a surreal feel to this piece because although the bubbles are from the photo, there are no bubbles in the texture. Is she floating in space or drowning? The viewer has to find his or her own interpretation, and I really like that.
I love the way you drew her hair, it looks so flowy and amazing! You did a great job drawing all those strands, and I really like that there are also loose hairs flowing around.
However, because of the complicated pose in the photo it's kind of hard to tell where her head and face is, and if you take a closer look at the photo she is facing downwars. Because of that, the flow of the hair you drew should be a bit different, but only a bit fuller at the top of her head. I'm also kind of confused by the round gap you left, is that supposed to be an ear? This part of your picture could be more readable.
I really love this, it looks really stunning, and I love the way you combined different "styles" - the drawn hair, the texture and the photo to create this - and the amazing colours.
